ATS (Assistive Technology Solutions) is a council service that provides independent living technology for vulnerable adults. Our solutions range includes:
- pendants that can be pressed in an emergency such as a fall or if you feel unsafe and vulnerable
- other devices which are designed to check you're safe and raise an alarm if you aren’t

If you need to monitor the location or wellbeing of a friend or family member remotely, we have the Smartwatch with GPS tracking. This includes:
- features to detect falls
- SOS personal alarm
- two-way calling
- heart rate monitoring
MiiCare - the digital coach, supporting people to remain at home
We are currently piloting a digital health coach called Miicare. This pilot has no costs to the individual.
MiiCare assists customers to remain within their own home, safely and for as long as possible, whilst providing insights into behaviours that are able to inform proactive care and support when required.
- prompting of medication
- reminders to drink fluids
- help call outs to family or carers in case of emergency
- data to inform proactive care
- home sensors to monitor movement and behavioural patterns to alert to changes that may imply health issues or concerns
- health devices to monitor vitals
- a smartwatch, including but not exclusively
- sleep quality summary
- daily steps count (goals/targets)
The alerts and data are relayed to the dedicated family member or carer through a secure phone app/dashboard. No wifi is required as we can supply an internet connection for the device.
